Creating a Cozy Atmosphere
The first step in my balcony makeover was to lay down a durable outdoor rug. A rug is just a super easy way to update any space. It’s going to make it feel more cozy and add a fun pop of color. I love getting a rug made for the outdoors because it's going to stand up to the elements. This rug is thinner than an indoor rug so it will dry faster and it's fade resistant which will be great for this space.
Next up, the star of the show: the Bellamy Egg Chair. With its unique design and comfortable cushions, it instantly became the focal point of the space. I was so pleased with the quality of the cushions- the fabric seems very high end, and the bonus is that they are already treated with Scotchguard to resist staining. This is key for outdoor furniture!
To inject some personality into the space, I incorporated vibrant outdoor pillows and charming globe lights for a touch of ambiance, perfect for evening gatherings or late-night reading sessions.
Assembly Made Easy
Assembly might seem intimidating, but with the easy-to-follow instructions and included tools, putting together the furniture was a breeze. Plus, the thoughtful packaging ensured that everything arrived in perfect condition, ready to be assembled. I was able to assemble the chair in about an hour all by myself, and the stone top table was also quick to assemble. This Allen wrench that was included in the packaging really sped up the process.
Practical and Stylish
I couldn't resist adding a few finishing touches, like this lightweight resin planter. I love that it mimics the look of natural stone without the hefty price tag. Plus, with its UV coating, it's built to last through countless seasons. I added a snake grass plant to it to add a touch of green.
Adding plants as decor accents is one of my favorite ways to warm up a space and make it fresh and inviting. I found this terracotta planter at Walmart as well and filled it with low maintenance succulents. I love the pops of terracotta and bright green- they remind me of spring and the warmer temperatures ahead!
